A day not to be missed!

Our events Inspire, Empower and Celebrate women in Adventure, and the positive atmosphere at a WAExpo event is tangible.

On January 28th 2017 the Women’s Adventure Expo is hosting ‘Create Your Own Adventure Brand’ at the Create Centre in Bristol.

A day of detailed workshops, offering small group interactive sessions, packed with the information and resources you need to help build your career in Adventure.

The day starts at 10.00am, with the option of a hot lunch at 12.00pm to fuel your brain, alternatively you are welcome to bring your own lunch. Afternoon workshops start at 1.00pm, with refreshments served at 2.30pm. Time for more workshops at 3.00pm and the event wraps up at 5.00pm. So there will be plenty of time for networking also!

Our ‘Creating Your Own Adventure Brand’ workshops will allow you to spend a full day immersed in one topic, for your own personal development. To ask questions and have time for meaningful conversation, to test your ideas and gain valuable feedback.
Attending the workshops will provide you with an opportunity to reflect upon your own strategy and listen to other people’s perspectives and questions. Being able to exchange views and learn new techniques within a friendly and supportive environment, inevitably helps you to broaden your horizons and think differently.
By collaborating in small groups, individual differences and a variety of responses can be valued. These perspectives, together with the information you receive, can assist you to create an excellent career plan, which also reflects a wider more complete and comprehensive way forward.

Recognising many women are on the same path, we have created sessions where participants present their Adventure to a small group. Sharing this experience with other women (who may also be a little shy or nervous) will allow you to learn essential presentation skills, within the safety of a supportive and encouraging environment. Or simply allow you to gain constructive feedback on your ideas within the group.
Sessions will include Writing and Publishing, Marketing and Sponsorship, Careers in Adventure, Optional Pitching and Speaking Sessions, Psychological Skills, Blogging, Podcasting and Social Media. Plus, the WAExpo will be on hand all day if you wish to discuss your ideas.
So, we’ll see you there then!

Tickets

Please book your tickets as soon as possible as numbers are limited for each session.

A Day pass allows you to attend any workshop, all day for £60.00. A Workshop Pass allows you to attend any one workshop for £25.00. Both tickets allow you to attend our free workshops. Follow the link for tickets below, this will allow you to add the workshops you wish to attend to your basket, the correct ticket cost will then be calculated for you.

The hot lunch option is Pre-order only - hot main + pudding, served in Cafe Create for £15. This option is available when booking your ticket.
