Traveling to the event
The Women’s Adventure Expo will be held at the MShed, located on the harbour side, Bristol. A five to 10 minute walk from the city centre or a 20 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads train station.

You can arrive at the venue by a variety of transportation, including foot, car and boat. For information on how to travel to the venue, including public transport please click on the link below and follow the directions to the MShed.

Parking
Located on Wapping Road (BS1 4RN) around two miles from the M32 motorway. There are nearby public car parks at The Grove (BS1 4RB) and Wapping Wharf (BS1 4RH). Plus drop-off and pick up point’s for taxis at the Wapping Road entrance of the M Shed.

Access

  • A level entrance at both the front and back of M Shed
  • A reception desk with a section at wheelchair-user height and induction loop
  • Three adult-sized wheelchairs for loan
  • Folding stools if you need a portable seat
  • Level access to all galleries
  • Staff on all floors
  • Three wheelchair accessible lifts with spoken announcements and tactile buttons (one is a fire evacuation lift)
  • Accessible toilets on all floors (some with right hand and some with left hand transfer)
  • An adult changing bed with a hoist

Eating
M Café on the Ground Floor serves a delicious range of fresh, Fairtrade and organic hot and cold food. Relax and enjoy lunch, a light snack or a tea-time treat while taking in the views of the harbour side. There are also a range of café’s and restaurants within close proximity to the venue.

The Women’s Adventure Expo will also have hot and cold drinks for sale during the day.

Opening times
The MShed is open from 10.00am on Saturday the 28th November until 6.00pm. However the event closes at 5.30 pm
